Research Fellow Na Yan has teamed up with Dr Yuzhuo Tang and Prof Tim Cockerill
(both in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Leeds) to work on an impact
development project entitled “Subsurface storage of biochar as a durable carbon
removal pathway in the UK”. This impact development project has been funded by
Geosolutions Leeds and will run from 1st September 2026 to 31st January 2027.
